Alan is a Project Engineer with 40 years experience in major projects in New Zealand and Australia responsible for effectively administering and co-ordinating site works and performing the duties of Engineer to Contract, Engineer’s Representative and Project Manager. Alan is a registered Electrician with a current practicing license to ensure that he remains congruent with the New Zealand Electricity Regulations and AS/NZ 3000.

Alister Hurndell

Project Engineer / Engineer's Representative

 

Alister has 34 years in the Electrical Transmission and Generation Industry and is a registered Electrician with a current practicing license to ensure that he remains congruent with the New Zealand Electricity Regulations and AS/NZ 3000. He is also a registered ESITO Assessor. Alister joined ABA in 2005 and has performed the duties as Engineer to Contract and Engineer’s Representative on the following projects:

Ben is a Project Electrical Engineer and offers 15 years Generation (hydro/wind) and Transmission Industry experience. Ben has been involved in the delivery of multidisciplinary projects. Including Large Rotating Machine Refurbishments, Power Transformer Installations, Excitation & Control Systems Upgrades,  Seismic enhancements to existing buildings and the Installation of Hydrogen Management & Fire Protection Systems.

Ben has also lead large Asset Management Transformation and Business Improvement Programmes which call on his strong practical, technical and people skills into play.

Ghanendra Bhim has a vast knowledge of the New Zealand HV Transmission Industry gained from his engineering and project delivery roles. Ghanendra strengths are in the detail, development & contract administration, procurement and financial tracking, he is also has a strong track recorded of successfully delivering project and large scale volumetric programmes of work

Vaughan Snowdon

Project Manager & Civil Engineer

Vaughan has experience in the tendering and delivery of projects in the high voltage civil and marine sectors. He has a strong track record in delivering these projects providing great outcomes for the customer and his employer.

Vaughan has moved to client-side project management and the skills and practical skill gained in his contractor project management and ‘on the tools’ roles will provide strong base, especially in managing contracts, methodologies, variation & claim reviews and safety.

Vaughan is also a Civil Engineer has a sound technical knowledge especially in deep excavations, piling & sheet piling, retaining and specialist industrial buildings. He has been involved in the successful delivery of many projects in the High Voltage industry and this is where he caught the eye of ABA Project Management. Vaughan has good communication skills and the ability to problem solve. His personality allows him to organise and motivate teams to provide excellent results.
